Japan's First! Schottky Barrier Diode Technology Guaranteed at A Juncture Temperature of 175°C

 As consciousness about protecting the earth's environment rises, movement towards next-generation HEVs (hybrids) and EVs (electric cars) is accelerating. These cars use more power than gasoline cars. To improve fuel efficiency, smaller sizes and lighter weights are demanded, not only of cars, but of their components as well. Expectations are particularly high for power device technology to curb loss in power conversion. To answer these needs, we introduce the "SLSBD®" Schottky barrier diode, designed to accommodate even designs within the high-temperature environments of automobile engine compartments, guaranteed at 175°C and providing high efficiency and reliability.
