Shindengen Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan), on April 2009, began sales of its "D3K package" bridge diode "UD series". In addition to the existing small-capacitance type (2A to 4A), the series now includes the 6 A output current "UD6KBA80"and the 8 A "UD8KBA80". These products answer the needs for intermediate capacitances.

1．Overview
Lately, demands for compactness and thinness are rising. Meanwhile, bridge diodes used on the AC input side are often expected to output currents of the same class as their predecessors or higher.
To respond to these needs, we have supplemented our compact "D3K packages" with the "UD series" intermediate capacitance bridge diode line. This answers needs for compactness and thinness. In addition, it has become possible to choose products with higher current capacity at the same size, expanding the options for improving efficiency in power.
We shall continue to provide power device products that satisfy our customers' needs, as well as to contribute to the protection of the earth's environment.
