The DC/DC converter we use for HVs is a down converter that converts
voltage from the high-voltage batteries installed to run motors (rated
144 V, 288 V, etc.) to low-voltage batteries (12 V type), recharging
the batteries and supplying power to electric components such as lights,
audio, and ECUs.
With the electrification of vehicles comes the need for greater power
supplies. Our power circuit technology, cultivated over many years,
contributes to the protection of the environment through products with
low energy loss.
As shown in the table below, we handle products for a broad range
of systems according to application.

The space in which to put car power is limited,
requiring miniaturization and light weight. At the same time, the
advancing use of electronics has brought diversification in electric
parts and increased the current to be supplied. To solve the problem
of this technical contradiction, we offer the ideal solution, not
merely dealing with the power circuit or heat release technology,
but strictly controlling internal temperatures with DSPs (Digital
Signal Processors) and attaining harmonization with the whole automobile.
Point 1
For this power supply's main circuit structure, we have adopted a partial resonance
full bridge system in order to enable zero-voltage switching with fewer parts,
thus reducing the interior elements' switching loss. In particular, our setting
of the normal actual-use load range to the peak of efficiency contributes
to the further-yet heightening of vehicle fuel efficiency.
Point 2
This power supply, by fully digitalizing the control circuit (DSP
control), offers function and external communication such as was
impossible with traditional analog control, along with high-precision
power monitoring and high-speed control.
